Senior Manager, IT Compliance

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Manager, IT Compliance will manage Information Security, IT Operations, and Compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards such as HIPAA and GDPR while working remotely for Canadian-based candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multi-jurisdictional compliance execution and support implementation of regulatory frameworks
• Drive vendor risk management by negotiating Business Associate Agreements and Data Processing Agreements
• Lead IT operations, including user provisioning, device management, and identity & access management

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in information security, IT operations, privacy, and compliance roles, with a focus on healthcare SaaS
• Deep expertise in HIPAA/HITECH compliance and strong knowledge of GDPR/UK GDPR
• Experience implementing security frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001 and managing third-party audits
• Hands-on experience leading IT operations in remote-first organizations
• Technical grounding in SaaS architecture and cloud environments
