Senior Manager, IT Platform Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a technically proficient team, the remote Senior Manager, IT Platform Engineering will oversee enterprise identity, network infrastructure, and endpoint engineering programs while ensuring delivery outcomes align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior IT platform engineers, managing the full people management lifecycle
• Own delivery accountability for major IT programs, partnering with engineering teams to protect strategic initiatives
• Manage relationships with key technology vendors, ensuring milestone accountability and performance governance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise IT with at least 3+ years in a senior management role in a technology company
• Hands-on experience with identity platforms, including Okta or equivalent environments
• Multi-cloud fluency across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Proven track record in building and scaling technical teams across multiple organizations
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams
