Senior Manager, IT Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, IT & Software Engineering to build and lead its IT function while providing technical leadership across its software engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the organization's security strategy, including compliance initiatives and risk assessments
• Oversee IT infrastructure and manage vendor relationships for security tools and IT services
• Coordinate with engineering leadership on secure development practices and architectural decisions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Deep expertise in information security and demonstrated experience with HIPAA compliance
• Hands-on experience with MDM solutions, identity providers, and endpoint protection platforms
• Experience building and leading IT teams, including hiring and developing talent
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification
