Job Summary
Partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, the hybrid Senior Manager, M&A Accounting will guide technical accounting matters related to business combinations, strategic investments, and compliance with accounting standards while contributing to a high-volume M&A environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Corporate Development on technical acquisition-related issues and facilitate the transition of due diligence findings
- Oversee purchase price allocation studies and prepare post-acquisition opening balance sheets with acquired company finance teams
- Interface with external auditors regarding opening balance sheets and support SEC disclosure processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational company
- Expert knowledge of acquisition accounting under ASC 805 and impairment accounting under ASC 350 and 360
- Experience in multinational and public company environments
- Ability to partner with external auditors and support SEC disclosure processes
