Job Summary

To ensure high-quality data for machine learning models, the full-time Senior Manager, Machine Learning will manage labeling quality and methodology, oversee the labeling platform, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define annotation guidelines and establish quality frameworks for labeling programs
• Serve as the primary user and requirements driver for the labeling platform, ensuring effective integration with ML infrastructure
• Source and manage external labeling vendors, setting quality standards and accountability measures

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in ML data operations, data labeling, or a related field
• Deep understanding of annotation quality frameworks and methodologies
• Direct experience managing labeling platforms, preferably Label Studio
• Proven track record of managing outsourced labeling vendors
• Familiarity with common ML labeling tasks such as text classification and document extraction
