Senior Manager Media Relations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Media Relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently implement media relations strategies and outreach for pharmaceutical and biotechnology products
• Develop media materials for interviews, trainings, and prep sessions while proactively uncovering stories to enhance corporate reputation
• Serve as a company spokesperson and liaise with external PR agencies, supporting the team on issues and crisis communications as needed

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of corporate communications or public relations experience, or equivalent experience with lower degrees
• Strong existing reporter relationships and experience working with news media on various topics
• Deep understanding of the biotechnology industry and communications environment
• Experience navigating drug approvals, data milestones, and regulatory decisions
• Proactive thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a self-starter mindset
