Senior Manager, Mobile Test Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Senior Manager, Mobile Test Engineering will set the quality strategy for Firefox Mobile, manage test automation and exploratory testing efforts, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set and own the overall quality strategy for Firefox Mobile, focusing on product outcomes
• Manage Test Automation Engineering to prioritize high-impact work and enhance bug detection
• Oversee observability initiatives, including dashboards and automated reporting, to monitor product health

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in test engineering, with at least 5 years in technical management roles
• Proven experience in building or transforming testing practices, including exploratory testing and test automation
• Strong track record of building collaborative relationships with development teams
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals into a coherent picture of product health
• Experience in managing and supporting a geographically distributed team
