Senior Manager of Accounting

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager of Accounting, this full-time remote position will own the entire accounting function, manage a small team, ensure technical accounting compliance, and oversee financial reporting and payroll operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements under US GAAP
• Lead complex revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscription and usage-based models, serving as the internal expert for technical accounting research
• Run bi-weekly payroll and oversee accounts payable, expense management, and AR/collections to optimize cash flow

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
• Hands-on expertise with NetSuite and payroll processing in ADP or a comparable platform
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606, with experience in recurring/usage-based SaaS revenue
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; active CPA preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a player-coach mindset
