Job Summary

A company is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager for a director-level, fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department including Order Entry, Billing, Credit & Collections, and Accounts Payable
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets, and conduct financial analysis to provide recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, handle tax planning and preparation, monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Required Qualifications and Education:

• A minimum of 10+ years of related work experience in accounting
• Must have either a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• Experience with full cycle accounting and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Must have Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNIP) experience and familiarity with NAIC reporting
