Job Summary
To support NAMI's mission, the full-time salaried Senior Manager of Capacity Building will develop and manage strategies and tools to enhance the operational capacity of NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates, working remotely or from the Arlington, VA headquarters with some travel required.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored technical assistance to NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates based on their specific needs
- Facilitate consultations focused on organizational capacity building, including strategic planning and leadership development
- Conduct assessments to identify gaps in capacity and create or share tools to address these needs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's degree preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in leadership roles within non-profit organizations, preferably in a federated network
- Experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing learning for various instructional formats
- Previous project management experience and familiarity with Salesforce preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
