Senior Manager of Clinical Analytics

Job Summary

Managing primary data and analytics support for a business unit, the full-time Senior Manager of Clinical Analytics will drive clinical analytics related to risk adjustment, quality measures, and population health initiatives while collaborating with leadership and mentoring teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees analytical support and uses expertise to aid strategic decision-making for local health plans or business units
• Partners with clinical leaders to drive operational analytics and ensure timely performance insights and risk assessments
• Identifies improvement opportunities for clinical initiatives through reporting and analytics, while managing teams of analysts and data scientists

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics or Computer Science
• 7+ years of relevant experience in analytics or informatics, with 3+ years in a management role
• Experience in an analytics environment, particularly in healthcare, epidemiology, or biostatistics
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL, Qlikview, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools
• Proven ability to develop and lead staff in a team-oriented environment
