Senior Manager of Drug Trend Management

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Senior Manager of Drug Trend Management, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of drug cost, safety, and integrity opportunities across Part B and Part D, evaluating patterns, building clinical and financial cases, and collaborating with various functions to drive impactful solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate surfaced opportunities, determining the validity of patterns and ensuring accurate population definitions and spend assessments
• Assemble clinical and financial justifications for viable opportunities, providing depth that supports actionable decisions
• Characterize problems and propose solutions, effectively communicating with colleagues to gain buy-in for necessary actions

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in managed care pharmacy, utilization management, or drug trend analysis, with significant exposure to Part B and Part D
• Deep expertise in pharmacy domain related to drug cost, safety, and integrity
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on population-level trends rather than individual cases
• Fluency in Medicare regulations and their implications on proposed solutions
• Proficiency in working with standard pharmacy and medical claims data to verify and analyze patterns
