Senior Manager of Engineering Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Engineering Operations (Public Sector).

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team, ensuring clear ownership and high team velocity
• Partner with government customers and internal teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals
• Translate compliance requirements into actionable engineering work and ensure operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including 3+ years in production/SRE environments for enterprise or government clients
• Proven ability in planning, tracking, and risk mitigation within compliance-driven environments
• Structured and proactive mindset regarding service level objectives and incident response
• U.S. citizenship and U.S. residency are required
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and FIPS 140-2/140-3 is preferred
