Senior Manager of Equipment Procurement

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Global Category Senior Manager - Equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor and market expert to the Engineering organization, delivering insights into market dynamics and supplier capabilities
• Forge strategic relationships with partners across Global Engineering to align business priorities with category strategies
• Design and implement category strategies based on market intelligence to support business objectives and drive value realization

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 4 years, or a Bachelor's degree and 6 years, or an Associate's degree and 10 years, or a high school diploma/GED and 12 years of relevant experience
• Strong background in capital equipment procurement within Biotech or Pharma
• Experience leading Equipment Procurement end-to-end across all sub-categories
• Expertise in capital equipment contracting and advanced sourcing practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire global, matrixed teams across business functions
