Senior Manager of Expeditions

Job Summary

Leading operations and logistics for Pristine Seas expeditions, the full-time remote Senior Manager of Expeditions will manage field activities, ensure safety protocols, and support scientific objectives while collaborating with diverse teams and community partners.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Expedition Leader, overseeing all logistical, community, and safety aspects of expeditions
• Co-lead pre-planning activities, including scouting trips and coordination of safety and dive operations
• Assist in assembling science teams and provide scientific support during expeditions, including data collection and SCUBA surveys

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 7+ years leading field-based operations in research, communications, or marine science
• 7+ years of experience in marine science, professional diving, and marine field science support
• PADI DiveMaster certification or equivalent
• Extensive small boat handling and maintenance experience, with emphasis on diving operations
