Senior Manager of Incident Response

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager of Incident Response.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the incident response team in identifying, handling, and mitigating security incidents
• Execute incident response plans, ensuring adherence during incidents and conducting post-incident reviews
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate communication and improve incident response processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in information security, with 3 years in incident response or security operations
• Experience managing incident response efforts in medium to large organizations
• Relevant industry certifications such as GCIH or GCFA
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems, with experience in automation and scripting languages
