Senior Manager of Market Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Market Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and accurate monthly close of actuary data and technical accounting matters, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
• Manage all aspects of market accounting, including audit support, accounting guidance, and monitoring reinsurance payments
• Drive the annual external audit process and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; Master's Degree preferred
• CPA preferred, but not required
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in progressive Accounting and Finance roles
• In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
