Senior Manager of NERC Compliance

Job Summary

Leading the execution and management of NERC reliability and CIP compliance programs, the full-time remote Senior Manager of NERC Compliance will oversee compliance tasks, manage the NERC Technical Compliance Manager, and coordinate with internal teams and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to standards.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage the NERC Technical Compliance Manager, setting priorities and fostering a culture of compliance ownership
• Lead day-to-day execution of the NERC CIP compliance program, ensuring adherence to technical requirements and managing cyber security incident responses
• Track and report on NERC compliance tasks, providing regular status updates to the VP of Asset Operations and driving continuous improvement of compliance processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of NERC compliance experience with knowledge of NERC GO/GOP reliability standards and NERC CIP cyber security standards
• 3+ years in a program lead or senior individual contributor role managing a NERC compliance program
• Prior people management or team lead experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with CIP technical controls and managing GADS reporting workflows
