Senior Manager of Observability

Job Summary

Leading the strategic direction and operational oversight of enterprise observability capabilities, the full-time Senior Manager of Observability will manage multiple monitoring and alerting platforms, ensuring effective incident detection and service-level visibility while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise observability and event management strategy, including success metrics
• Lead and mentor monitoring and alerting teams across infrastructure, application, and cloud observability platforms
• Provide oversight for observability tools, ensuring integration and effective lifecycle management

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, or observability, with leadership experience
• Strong hands-on engineering background in enterprise monitoring and event management systems
• Experience transforming organizations from reactive monitoring to proactive observability models
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, multi-tool monitoring environments
• Strong understanding of incident management and ITSM integration
