Senior Manager of Operations

Job Summary

Leading the DevOps, Platform, and IT functions remotely, the full-time Senior Manager of Operations will manage legacy infrastructure remediation, design a modern operations support model, and oversee vendor and contract management to support public health immunization information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and remediate legacy systems while designing the operations support model for a new platform
• Lead and develop the DevOps, Platform, and IT teams, ensuring operational metrics and process improvements are met
• Manage the lifecycle of contracts for tooling and vendors, partnering on negotiations to optimize costs and terms

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or IT leadership, with 3+ years in team management
• Experience in modernizing legacy infrastructure while in production, including security and compliance improvements
• Proven ability to design support/operations models for new platforms, including staffing and tooling
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and IT service management tooling
• Experience in vendor contract management and negotiations, ideally in a SaaS or services environment
