Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting

Job Summary

To support Atlassian's growth objectives, the remote Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting will provide technical accounting expertise on ASC 606, partner with cross-functional teams, and lead process improvements for the enterprise order-to-cash process.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to deliver go-to-market strategies and address related accounting impacts
• Leverage technical expertise to provide revenue accounting results and guidance on complex accounting programs and transactions
• Act as the subject matter expert for the Revenue Team over the revenue module (RevPro) and manage data integrity and system logic

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of revenue experience in public accounting and industry, particularly with Enterprise/SaaS revenue teams
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 and experience with RevPro and ERP systems like Oracle
• Excellent research abilities and strong technical writing skills in challenging revenue recognition topics
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and the ability to lead recommendations and action plans
• BA/BS degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent preferred, with experience in a Big-4 accounting firm strongly preferred
