Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering will drive the reliability, availability, and performance of a global platform while fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day reliability and performance of the platform, ensuring proactive monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure
• Lead engineering teams in developing reliability tools and automation to enhance developer velocity and platform trust
• Manage and mentor a team of SREs, promoting a culture of technical excellence and collaboration with product and engineering teams

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, SRE, or Software Engineering, with at least 4 years managing engineering teams in a high-scale SaaS environment
• Experience in building tools and automation, with a focus on infrastructure as code
• Proven track record in managing complex technical projects and driving systems to higher uptime standards
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Go or Python for code review and automation efforts
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade container orchestration, preferably using Kubernetes
