Senior Manager of Technical Accounting
Job Summary
Leading the technical accounting function, the full-time Senior Manager of Technical Accounting will focus on revenue recognition for Medicaid services, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and collaborating with various teams to manage state contracts and financial reporting in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and ensure proper revenue recognition under ASC 606 for various state and county contracts
- Research and document accounting positions on complex transactions, drafting technical memos as needed
- Design and maintain internal controls over revenue recognition and contract billing processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA required (or actively pursuing)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and technical accounting in industry
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP
- Experience drafting technical accounting memos
