Senior Manager of Technical Program Management

Job Summary

To lead AI Platforms initiatives spanning Search Relevance and Machine Learning Infrastructure, the remote eligible Senior Manager of Technical Program Management will manage stakeholder alignment, drive project execution, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance data-driven decision-making across Airbnb.

Key responsibilities:

• Shape and influence the technical direction of projects while ensuring stakeholder needs are met
• Define success criteria for AI initiatives and proactively assess risks and opportunities
• Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders and present updates to senior leadership

Required qualifications:

• 13+ years in technical program management, with at least 8 years leading and mentoring TPM teams
• Experience in search relevance, natural language search, and recommendation systems
• Proven ability to work through ambiguity and drive initiatives to completion
• Strong analytical skills and a track record of influencing results through data-driven analyses
• Familiarity with ML models, A/B testing, and incremental delivery methodologies
