Senior Manager of Trust & Safety
Job Summary
To build a trusted marketplace, the full-time salaried Senior Manager of Trust & Safety will define trust protocols, lead the development of a Trust & Safety team, and establish policies to ensure a safe environment for users, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define trust standards and develop protocols for identifying and responding to trust-breaching incidents
- Transform policies into actionable playbooks and hire, lead, and scale a Trust & Safety team focused on compliance and dispute resolution
- Monitor trust incidents and prepare reports for leadership on the overall state of Marketplace Trust
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Trust & Safety or related fields, with at least 3 years in program design and implementation
- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, particularly in dispute resolution and policy enforcement
- Hands-on experience in designing and scaling dispute resolution processes
- Exceptional judgment and decisiveness in high-stakes situations
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; advanced studies preferred
