Senior Manager of Trust & Safety

Job Summary

As the first dedicated leader of Trust & Safety, the full-time Senior Manager of Trust & Safety will define trust protocols, build and lead a team focused on policy enforcement and network health compliance, and develop strategies to maintain a safe and trusted marketplace in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define trust standards and develop protocols for identifying and responding to trust-breaching incidents
• Transform policies into actionable playbooks and establish monitoring processes for trust incidents
• Hire and manage a Trust & Safety team, ensuring consistent policy enforcement across the organization

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Trust & Safety or related fields, with at least 3 years in program design and implementation
• Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams, particularly in policy enforcement and dispute resolution
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills in high-stakes situations
• Experience designing and scaling dispute resolution processes from the ground up
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; advanced study preferred
