Senior Manager of Trust & Safety

Job Summary

As the first dedicated leader of Trust & Safety, the full-time Senior Manager of Trust & Safety will define trust protocols, build and manage a team, and develop systems to ensure a safe and reliable marketplace while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define trust metrics and develop protocols for identifying and responding to trust-breaching incidents
• Hire and lead a Trust & Safety team focused on policy enforcement and dispute resolution
• Establish monitoring processes for trust incidents and prepare reports on marketplace trust status

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Trust & Safety or related fields, with at least 3 years in program design and implementation
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, particularly in dispute resolution
• Hands-on experience in designing and scaling dispute resolution processes
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills in high-stakes situations
• Completion of a 4-year accredited college program; advanced degree preferred
