Senior Manager, OpenShell Engineering

Job Summary

Senior Manager, OpenShell Engineering is a full-time position responsible for guiding a team that integrates advancements in agentic systems into runtime infrastructure, tools, and workflows for enterprise developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team focused on agentic systems and OpenShell runtime capabilities
• Define technical strategy, research agenda, and product priorities in collaboration with various teams
• Ensure high-quality development of POCs, evaluation harnesses, and product-ready solutions

Required Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant software development experience
• 4+ years of leadership and management experience
• Experience in leading research engineering or advanced product engineering teams
• Strong technical judgment in areas such as LLMs, agentic systems, and AI safety/security
