Senior Manager, Payments Consulting

Job Summary

To support the Payment Consulting team, the full-time Senior Manager, Payments Consulting will manage go-to-market initiatives for U.S. debit capabilities, build relationships with external partners, and contribute technical expertise while working in a fully virtual or hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead go-to-market initiatives to enhance adoption of Amex debit capabilities in the acceptance channel
• Develop and maintain relationships with key external debit partners while managing prioritization and reporting of opportunities to improve the Cardmember experience
• Present strategic recommendations and industry insights to internal stakeholders and leadership teams to drive alignment and decision-making

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in U.S. debit card processing with expertise in acceptance channel processing
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record in managing cross-functional projects
• Experience negotiating complex contracts with partners and/or customers
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required
• Proven ability to build and leverage strong relationships with stakeholders and influence others without direct authority
