Senior Manager, Payments Consulting

Job Summary

To support the Global Merchant & Network Services team, the full-time Senior Manager, Payments Consulting will lead go-to-market initiatives for U.S. debit capabilities, manage relationships with key partners, and contribute technical expertise while working in a fully virtual or hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Captain go-to-market initiatives to advance adoption of Amex debit capabilities in the acceptance channel
• Create and expand relationships with key external debit partners while presenting recommendations and industry insights to stakeholders
• Develop documentation and operational processes to ensure consistent results and uplift debit knowledge across the team

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in U.S. debit card processing with expertise in acceptance channel processing
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record in managing cross-functional projects
• Sound technical aptitude and analytical skills, with experience negotiating complex contracts
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required
• Proven ability to build and leverage strong relationships with stakeholders and influence without direct authority
