Senior Manager, Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering to lead its infrastructure software engineering team focused on a Kubernetes-based compute platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure software engineers in Kubernetes platform engineering
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for the Kubernetes compute platform, driving modernization and efficiency
• Ensure ultra-high availability of the production platform and implement operational excellence practices

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps roles
• 5+ years of people management experience leading technical teams
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes in production environments at scale
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
