Senior Manager, Platform Security

Job Summary

To further the mission of secure-by-design architectures, the full-time Senior Manager, Platform Security will provide strategic and technical leadership, actively engage in hands-on coding, and align team strategies with business needs in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and technical leadership while personally architecting and implementing security solutions alongside engineers
• Align team-wide strategy with business needs and foster trust-centric relationships with key partner teams
• Establish a Platform Security roadmap and manage third-party vendor relationships to address capability gaps

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of leadership experience for cloud-native engineering and/or security teams, preferably in AWS-based organizations
• 10+ years of direct technical experience in relevant roles with continued hands-on coding/IaC work in the last 2-3 years
• Strong experience in AWS, EKS (Kubernetes), IAM, Terraform, and GitHub Enterprise Cloud
• Experience in leading teams through organizational change management, with a preference for start-up experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and leverage team expertise for decision-making
