Senior Manager, Policy Strategy
Job Summary
To support the operationalization of EPR legislation for paper and packaging products, the remote Senior Manager, Policy Strategy will manage stakeholder engagement, facilitate consultation processes, and develop policy communications while collaborating with CAA's Founding Members and trade associations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage consultation processes on regulatory and policy issues with producers and trade associations
- Plan and facilitate structured consultation processes to inform policy development and regulatory positioning
- Develop and manage policy communications materials for internal and external audiences
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public policy, environmental studies, or related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in public policy, with 2+ years specifically in EPR related to paper and packaging
- Proficiency in PowerPoint with experience in developing executive-level presentations
- Preferred experience in policy communications and working with trade associations
- Familiarity with SmartSheets is preferred
