Senior Manager, R&D Project Management

Job Summary

To provide business and technical leadership for projects within a designated Bausch + Lomb business vertical, the full-time Senior Manager, R&D Project Management will manage cross-functional teams to develop global product development strategies, oversee resource and risk management, and ensure compliance with governance standards, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of global product development strategies, including project scope, timelines, and financial modeling
• Develop and maintain resource plans, guiding teams in proactive risk identification and mitigation
• Prepare and present Business Gate Reviews to ensure project alignment and compliance with regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• BS/BA in Science or Engineering; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in the Medical Device/Pharma industry, with 3-5 years in R&D Project Management
• Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint; MS Project experience preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• Proven expertise in process improvement and systems thinking for operational efficiency
