Senior Manager Reinsurance Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager -- Reinsurance Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Directs and manages reinsurance accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting and general ledger transactions
• Provides technical guidance to senior leaders and participates in reinsurance strategy preparation and monitoring
• Leads team training and development while fostering a high-performance work environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field
• Understanding of GAAP, Reinsurance, and Statutory Accounting
• CPA designation is desirable
• At least five years of reinsurance accounting experience, preferably with property catastrophe reinsurance
• In-depth knowledge of NetSuite general ledger software is a plus
