Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

Job Summary

To support financial management initiatives, the full-time Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting will oversee non-grant revenue processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage an Accountant while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and improve non-grant revenue stream processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and ASC 606
• Serve as the escalation point for complex revenue issues and advise on risk mitigation strategies
• Manage accounts receivable processes, including cash receipts and invoicing, while strengthening internal controls

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree in accounting preferred; at least five years of experience in revenue accounting for a non-profit required
• Minimum of two years' management experience in revenue management with direct supervision responsibilities
• Expertise in ASC 606 and creating processes for revenue recognition
• Experience with business collections and compliance with CECL
• Proficiency with accounting software and data management systems required
