Senior Manager SAS Macro Developer

Job Summary

Senior Manager SAS Macro Developer, responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of SAS macros in a remote/hybrid full-time role, focusing on TLF programming workflows and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex SAS macros to enhance programming workflows, particularly for TLFs
• Ensure compliance with formal SDLC processes and GxP standards during macro development and validation
• Mentor junior developers and document best practices while optimizing macro performance for clinical trial datasets

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or a related quantitative field
• 12+ years of experience in SAS programming within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry
• At least 5 years of dedicated SAS macro development experience with expert-level proficiency in SAS/BASE and SAS/MACROS
• Strong understanding of SDLC compliance and software validation practices in a regulated environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of CDISC standards and regulatory submission requirements
