Senior Manager, Security Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Senior Manager, Security Engineering will provide vision and operational accountability for enterprise security engineering, focusing on risk reduction and reporting across various technology platforms in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop a Security Engineering team, defining operational models and measurable objectives for security capabilities
• Manage and mature security service areas including vulnerability management, DevSecOps, and penetration testing, ensuring effective risk management and remediation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security priorities with enterprise risk reduction and business enablement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in information security, technology risk, or security engineering, with demonstrated leadership accountability
• Experience managing technical security teams and building risk-based security programs
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and practices such as NIST CSF and OWASP
• Ability to translate technical security findings into business risk and executive-level communication
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar security certifications are preferred but not required
