Senior Manager, Security Operations

Job Summary

Leading a team of security operations professionals, the full-time Senior Manager, Security Operations will oversee the performance of the Security Operations Center (SOC) remotely, focusing on operational metrics, continuous improvement initiatives, and talent development across 24x7 detection and response operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with frontline security operations analysts to measure and improve the day-to-day performance of the SOC
• Own and interpret the SOC's operational metrics program, tracking KPIs and service outcomes
• Drive operational excellence by identifying pain points and championing process improvements and automation opportunities

Required qualifications

• Prior leadership experience within a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• 6+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or a related cybersecurity discipline
• 4+ years of people management experience, including managing analysts and coordinating a global team
• Demonstrated experience developing and interpreting operational metrics (KPIs/SLAs)
• Advanced technical knowledge of network and endpoint security, and SIEM/SOAR detection-and-response tooling
