Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a small, high-impact team, the full-time Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering will oversee the reliability, availability, and operational excellence of an AWS-hosted SaaS platform, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the reliability, performance, and scalability of the AWS-hosted SaaS platform, ensuring compliance with SLA/SLO commitments
• Architect and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code, while managing CI/CD pipelines for efficient application delivery
• Lead incident response and on-call operations, conducting post-incident reviews and fostering a proactive reliability culture

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a management capacity
• Deep expertise in AWS, including architectural and operational knowledge of cloud-native workloads
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, Terraform) and experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of security and compliance requirements relevant to regulated data environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST)
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including managing distributed contractors effectively
