Senior Manager, Software Development

Job Summary

Leading the full-stack mobile platform, the full-time Senior Manager, Software Development will oversee a team focused on delivering high-quality mobile experiences, develop technical strategies, and manage project execution for a platform supporting over 1.4 million daily active users.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in iOS, Android, and backend/BFF development, providing technical direction and guidance
• Develop and execute the long-term technical strategy for the Dayforce Mobile platform, including BFF and domain microservices
• Champion an AI-native development lifecycle while managing project execution and ensuring high-quality delivery

Required qualifications

• Eight or more years of software development experience, with at least five years in leadership roles
• Technical expertise in mobile and backend/API development, including architecture and emerging technologies
• Experience leading teams through an AI-native development lifecycle
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Understanding of mobile Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) and domain microservices architecture
