Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Lead Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage team experimentation and innovation with new technologies and proof of concept development
• Collaborate with directors and tech leads to understand dependencies and drive system improvements
• Develop engineers through personal development plans and manage technical strategy and roadmap

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or 3 years of equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience managing high performance engineering teams
• Experience with modern, high traffic applications and backend services, preferably using Node/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of project management software, preferably Jira
• Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with AI-driven development
