Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead teams responsible for the storefront experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop two engineering teams, focusing on coaching and performance management
• Drive the technical roadmap for storefront experiences and establish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Product to enhance merchant and developer experiences while managing Stencil and Catalyst projects

Required Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in building and operating production systems across front-end, back-end, and infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience managing high-performing software engineering teams
• Strong technical background with the ability to lead technical strategy discussions
• Experience in iterative problem-solving and executing across multiple codebases
• Familiarity with Next.js, GraphQL, and eCommerce platforms is a plus
