Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Spatial Ecology to lead and support conservation planning efforts within regional, national, and hemispheric bird conservation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development of scientific data products to support conservation planning efforts
- Lead project development and provide analytical support for various conservation science projects
- Communicate analytical results through reports, dashboards, and peer-reviewed publications
Required Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional GIS and applied conservation science experience
- Extensive experience with spatially explicit environmental data and systematic conservation planning tools
- Expertise in R and/or Python for statistical and spatial analyses
- Experience in publishing scientific work in peer-reviewed journals
