Job Summary
To support a national coalition focused on youth mental health funding, the full-time Senior Manager, State Coalition will coordinate state coalitions, prepare advocates for legislative engagement, and drive policy action across states while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support and provide technical assistance to cross-sector state coalitions, ensuring coordination among national partner organizations
- Develop advocacy tools for state partners and track policy movement, facilitating communication and learning across states
- Align coalition actions with broader engagement strategies and coordinate campaign messaging with communications partners
Required qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience in state-level advocacy or coalition coordination
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing multi-stakeholder coalitions and facilitating member engagement
- Familiarity with legislative tracking and state policy processes, with experience across multiple states preferred
- Strong written communication skills for drafting advocacy materials and stakeholder updates
- Commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and belonging, with flexibility in problem-solving and learning new skills
