Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning

Job Summary

To support a growing battery technology company, the full-time Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning will build and own the sales and operations planning process, reconcile demand forecasts against manufacturing capacity, and manage day-to-day material execution, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a rolling demand forecast and capacity model, ensuring alignment with sales and engineering teams
• Identify and resolve capacity or supply constraints early, facilitating cross-functional decision-making to prevent shortages
• Oversee materials execution by managing purchase orders, tracking material availability, and coordinating with contract manufacturers

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain planning, S&OP, or demand planning within a hardware or industrial product environment
• Proven hands-on experience in establishing an S&OP or demand-capacity planning process from scratch
• Experience reconciling demand forecasts with manufacturing or supplier capacity constraints
• Direct experience in materials execution, including purchase order management and supplier expediting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build planning tools in Excel or similar software
