Senior Manager, Talent Operations

Job Summary

Managing a small team of early-talent recruiters and HR coordinators, the full-time Senior Manager, Talent Operations will oversee the hiring and employment lifecycle for fellows in a remote environment, ensuring quality and efficiency as the program scales from 100 to 10,000 fellows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the pod of early-talent recruiters and HR coordinators, setting priorities and coaching team members
• Oversee the screening and selection process, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience while maintaining throughput
• Direct the employer-of-record lifecycle, including offers, onboarding, payroll setup, and compliance tracking

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in recruiting and HR or people operations, with a focus on both areas
• Experience managing teams and utilizing fractional or shared services for recruitment and HR operations
• Proven track record in high-volume or early-talent hiring, including ownership of HR operations such as payroll and compliance
• Familiarity with using AI and automation in recruiting and HR processes
• Strong background in handling employee relations and performance management
