Senior Manager, Technical Program Management

Job Summary

To establish and lead the Technical Program Management function, the full-time Senior Manager, Technical Program Management will manage a small team, define operating models, and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the Technical Program Management operating model and standards across the organization
• Manage and mentor senior individual contributor TPMs while ensuring accountability and project management discipline
• Oversee cross-functional interfaces and dependencies for major programs, ensuring alignment between Engineering, Product, and Design teams

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on establishing or scaling TPM functions in high-growth software companies
• Experience managing a team of senior IC TPMs and maintaining high standards for the function
• Strong technical fluency, capable of understanding code and architecture to assess project risks
• Proven ability to build effective cross-functional interfaces under launch pressure
• Experience operating Linear, Jira, or similar tools at scale, including defining project management standards
