Senior Manager, Workers' Compensation

Job Summary

Leading the full scope of the Workers' Compensation program, the full-time Senior Manager, Risk Operations will manage claims oversight, risk mitigation, and underwriting operations while mentoring a team of specialists in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee claims management, ensuring alignment with program objectives and monitoring loss performance metrics
• Develop and implement risk mitigation initiatives tailored to the entertainment industry, enhancing safety and operational efficiency
• Lead and mentor a team of Workers Compensation Operations and Claims Specialists, driving accountability and performance across all program areas

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in workers' compensation operations or related risk management functions
• 4+ years of people management experience in a fast-paced environment
• Solid knowledge of workers' compensation claim lifecycles and TPA performance management
• Strong understanding of workers' compensation policy structures and payroll-based premium calculations
• Demonstrated ability to analyze claims and policy data to recommend operational improvements
