Senior Managing Consultant

Job Summary

Leading applied research and evaluation engagements, the full-time Senior Managing Consultant will design and deliver research frameworks, manage client relationships, and mentor multidisciplinary teams in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of research and evaluation projects, including developing evaluation plans and data collection strategies
• Advise clients on utility programs and customer challenges, building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities for expanded work
• Manage project planning, budget tracking, and team coordination to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in applied research, program evaluation, or consulting engagements
• Expertise in qualitative research methods and familiarity with quantitative evaluation approaches
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, project scope, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills suitable for client-facing deliverables
• Experience mentoring or developing junior team members in research and consulting practices
